- 500g pork ribs, rinsed
- White sesame, for garnish
- 3 roots green onions
- 5 sliced, ginger
- 6 piece star anise
- 20g brown sugar
Seasoning
- 2 tsp light soy sauce
- 3 tsp white rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 tsp cooking wine

Directions
Make a sweet and sour sauce: In a bowl, add in cooking wine, light soy sauce, white rice vinegar and brown sugar, mix and well combined.
Blanch pork ribs with cooking wine, green onions, ginger and star anise in cold water, remove it after skim scum off the water.
Heat the pot with cooking oil over medium-high heat, fry the pork ribs until both sides are golden.
Pour enough water to cover the ribs, then add in the sweet and sour sauce and mix well.
Simmer over low heat for about half an hour, then turn to high heat to make sauce thicken.
Garnish with white sesame. Finished!
